Industry S tandard Formats - using anything other than industry standard (tiff, jpeg, etc,) storage formats is dangerous. Proprietary image files can only be consumed by software sold by the people who scanned the documents. It is like painting yourself into a corner. AmeriScan will store your images as industry standard formats with standard compression characteristics. Like all rules, there are exceptions here too. AmeriScan does support several proprietary file formats, including INVZN, and can store to these formats upon request.
